Multimodal Caucedo

Built by the private sector in 2003, is located in the coordinates latitude 18 ° 26 N and longitude 69 ° 36 W. It has 600 meters of quay and a depth of about 14 meters, plus 80 hectares container.

The operative infrastructure is provided of 5 Post Panamax cranes, 43 yard tractors, 6 container cranes, electrical substation, CCTV security, perimeter fences 3 meters high, boats and maritime patrol operations services 24 hours.

The Port of Caucedo was the result of a concession agreement between the company Zona Franca Multimodal Caucedo, SA and the Dominican Port Authority, signed in 1999 for a period of 50 years, the Dominican State receiving financial compensation for the rights granted.
